Langkawi Parade Megamall is the largest mall on the main island of Langkawi. Located just outside the Kuah town and sitting right on the Jalan Padang Matsirat (Road #112), it is easily accessible on the way towards any attractions on the eastern half of the island.
Parade Megamall has over forty duty free stores that sell everything from inexpensive souvenirs to high end accessories and jewellery. Duty free alcohol and chocolates attract many tourists who are looking to load up on fine wines and rare confectionaries. Cuban cigars and other exotic tobacco products are also available at a bargain price. The Teow Soon Huat is a multi-storey department store and supermarket within the mall which houses almost everything one can imagine buying. It is a one stop destination for souvenirs, clothes, accessories, liquors, and chocolates. The store also has a children’s department with toys, strollers and clothes. The basement of the supermarket is dedicated for food and groceries.
Several restaurants on level one and two, and a food court on level three are adequate to satiate the hunger and thirst after a few hours of shopping. The mall has a cineplex which can be used to relax and enjoy local Malaysian and international movies during your trip. Occasionally, the plaza also organises events such as live music performances, fairs, festivals and kids events for the entertainment of its patrons.
